EEK! Finals, trip home, and unpacking have made me fall helplessly behind….Or so most would think…will she fail to write  to write 31 stories this month (most likely) but she will make a effort…

“That’s it?” She yelled looking at the man with octagonal frames. His office was dark, he had that green lamp you could buy at any office supply store but made people feel that they had the air of authenticity. “That’s it Ms. Pendegrast, now will you please leave my office, with the item that was bequeathed to you” The blond girl stood up, exhaled loudly so the lawyer would know her fustration and picked up the wrapped package that was laid out on the desk. “Good day sir” she said as she slammed the door shut.

“When, I’m gone” he had told her on toussling her hair as they sat in their brand new yard “I will take care of you and you’ll know how much I love you” She rolled onto her stomach looking back up at him “Don’t you mean ‘loved you’? Com’on give me a hint at least Patrick…” he smiled and shook his head and tried to go back to messing up her hair. She shot back at him with a finger to tickle him “Hey! Watch it…”

Sitting in the backyard again it was hard to believe that was only a few months ago. Who would of thought…She almost cried. That’s right, who would have thought that Patrick would stop his car and try to help someone and instead be the one killed. Who would have thought that after buying this house that a few months later it would be missing the life that filled its halls.  Samantha sat on the veranda looking out at the background, placing the package next to her. “Stupid box…” She ripped open the packaging and ripped open the box.  A camera and a key

“Hey hon, I love you” he was smiling and waving at her a new background the college bookstore where they met “Hey hon, I love you!” a new background but he was still smiling “Hey hon, I love you” the tears rolled down blurring her vision until it was a simple blurr on the screen who reassured her

“Hey hon, I love you”

“Hey hon, I love you”

“Hey hon, I love you”

I’m back!

Finally…So I finally got around to clearing out my spam and the comments (60! 60!) and I’m going to try the lovely Wednesday prompts since my night class on Wednesday keeps getting moved around…

Oh yeah and I’m in the process of editing my NaNo and going to be attempting StADaMa (is that the right acronym?) again!

“So..wait what?” <—Reaction the small reasonable part of my brain had

“No worries…I should be done most everything ‘important’ by May” said the more relaxed part of the brain

So…not like anyone’s reading this anywho, so I’m just gonna go now…

BYE!

I am a huge procrastinator and it has been forever it seems since I’ve posted anything on here. And even if I can’t make it to 31 stories in these next few days I will say this.

I am happy to have written with some amazing writers and attempt this great goal

I think I have definitely improved my skills

And that coming with a story everyday is hard work and those who have done it you are simply amazing!

I have a rehearsal tonight with a lot of downtime so in between writing papers I will be posting stories.

Good day and good luck!

So only Four stories and it’s day Ten.

I really want to keep going, but it’s hard with all of my other pressures

I will try, I will not give up. I will get 31 in, somehow!

Ello world!

Oh God…Why did I sign up for this? Well more or less I’ve done NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) and I’ve won three times but I always get yelled at for my stories I end them too quickly so a month to work on short stories or little scenes might be good for me to improve on my skills. I have another blog that’s more general life. I’m really excited I’ve haven’t had time to really think of too many ideas. I know I’d like to do at least one non-fiction, one six word story like Hemingway, and one that uses photographs. Other than that I’m just going to take the back seat to my own imagination and let it take the wheel.
