Doing great on my Story-A-Day goal . . . not so great on remembering to post my results!
My goal was to write one short story a day, Monday through Friday. And so far, I’ve made it! Here’s my scorecard:
May 2nd: (dark urban fantasy) “It’s a Numbers Game” 2500 words
May 3rd: (horror) “My Heart Belongs to the Mountain” 2000 words
May 4th: (horror) “Size Matters” 2100 words
May 5th: (horror) “Seven Year Itch”1900 words
May 6th: (humorous urban fantasy) “Starry Knight” 600 words
May 9th: (horror) “Grubs” 3700 words
May 10th: (horror) “Cleopatra’s Jewels” 1200 words
May 11th (horror) “Think Green” 2200 words
May 12th: (horror) “Still Waters” 3100 words
May 13th: (horror) “The Henge” 1900 words
So far, so good, and I plan on continuing! This is my month to gorge on short stories before diving back into novel revisions next month.
