Day 19: Sleepy writing

Sometimes being very tired brings out the most wonderful, crazy writing.  Other times it is pure gibberish.  Today I got another 800+ in my fan fiction and I’m going to write a six word story right now! Ready?

The car shuddered and I cried.

Day 17: Got distracted but finished my short!

Yes I’d like to blame my sporadic writing today on Sherlock.  Not on the quick errand that took nearly five hours, not the two hour lounge beneath the apple tree, and not the time wasting of rebuilding a forgotten blog.  Nope it is the fault of a extremely addictive show that after watching two episodes on I scoured the internet looking for the perfect quote and picture that I merged into one on PicMonkey.  So thanks for that.

I finished a short and when I made my family listen to it the response was typical “You’re not going to let anyone read that are you?” and “She get’s it from you mom.”  I didn’t think it was that terrible- kind of funny really.  What do you think?

“I’ve never been in love. Doubt you can change that.”

His voice was raspy. Being strangled will do that to your vocal cords.

Night :)

Day 11: Prompt Story!

Finally I wrote a story based on story a day prompt.  I had one of the work days where everything that could go wrong did.  I just wanted to crawl into bed and go to sleep but had too much to do!  Suffice to say my mood has been a bit morose and I really didn’t feel like writing about my quirky love struck Regency characters so I went quick sci-fi.  And it made me smile.

Here are the first three sentences~

It is easy for the cleanup crew.  The bodies were ash, not bloodied bits of human parts strewn across the ship.  All they really needed was a vacuum.

Tomorrow’s Plan

Have a long drive so I might just stick with another flash fiction. That is after I do flash cards for my final A&P test on Monday.

Day 6: Walk for Hunger

I’m almost finished the 20 mile walk today but when a team mate had to stop at 16.5- hey I’m more than happy with that number. As it is I’m worried I’ll be showing up to school in the morning in my Super Mario pajamas!

So I wasn’t planning on writing today but I got some sad news when I finally made it home and felt like writing something about an amazing woman who will be greatly missed.  Pardon my sad attempt at poetry!

She was full of laughter and light,

a lady whose soul was young and old

at the same time.  She was a creative genius

who found anything could spark her imagination

and just being around her made others push

for things they never before dreamed.

A joke, a chat, she was always good at that.

Whenever I think of her my heart sings

because her beauty imbues everything.

I’ll miss my friend though we’ve been apart

a sweet, zany one who was always up for a lark.

Day Five: Under the Wire

Yep, I’ve nearly run out of time today so I’m going to write a microfiction.
RIght Now.
So please excuse any typos I’m on my NOOK and will edit later.

I was walking past the field when I spotted something shiny so I climbed over the wild brush to look closer. The fence was down it was red speckled silver. Romeo was on a rampage again.

Okay not my best but a short about wire (see like the title of my post!).

He stood by the bubbler trying to slide his merit card into the machine. He worked through lunch just to earn a small drink and now the contraption was malfunctioning.

That was just an extra random bit. Okay big day tomorrow so good night!
