So, hey, quick question: would you be interested in doing a bonus StoryADay September?
Why September?
*It’s that time of year when years of school timetables have conditioned us (in the Northern hemisphere at least) to think about fresh starts and buckling-down-to-work.
*It’s far enough away from NaNoWriMo, for those of you who participate, that it won’t eat into your novel-planning time in October.
*It’s a full calendar-quarter since May. Our creative batteries will be recharged (and frankly, we might have fallen back into some old, bad habits, yes?)
I’d be thrilled to prep for a StoryADay September if people are excited about the idea, but frankly, I don’t want to waste my time (and pepper you with unwanted emails) if everyone feels ‘meh’ about the idea. I’d be so grateful if you’d take a moment to click on the poll and let me know. Is it “Meh, I’ll wait until May” or “Oo, yeah, I’m SO going to need this by September”?

I’m definitely intrigued! Not sure I could commit to the whole 30 (have a writing conference at the end of the month) – but I think would definitely write more than usual. I’d be interested to see if anyone else is up for it.
I totally bombed in May this year and think September might be a great option. I’m with Alexis in the”intrigued” category.

I think I would be participating, but in a limited way. I know that I would check in almost every day, but I might not be able to write everyday. Lots of stuff going on that month.
I did 10 out of 31 days in May the first time I ever did a challenge of any sort and I still feel good about that! So if you offer the challenge, which is very generous of you ’cause this kind of thing takes time!, I will be there.

I voted intrigued too. I’m only taking two classes in the fall but not sure how heavy the workload will be. Ah, who am I kidding change me to heck yeah
This is starting to sound like a Writers Anknymous programme! Heh, excellent. Those compelled to write are those who will improve and get more prolific. We’re not sick, we’re hard-working!!
I hope with all the strength in my soul that you do the September thing. I Loved the story in May thing and want to do it all again.
