Deaf and dumb and hungry.

Also blond and buxom and buck toothed, a young woman, Marilyn Monroe-like in an orthodontist’s nightmare, she stood at the head of the line in a fast food restaurant, desperately trying to have it her way and getting nowhere.

No one on the staff could sign, and she couldn’t make a sound.  The girl standing in front of her kept smiling and paging the manager who didn’t arrive.

Finally some little boy at the back of the line came forward to watch.  Immediately he grasped the problem.  He took a paper napkin and started to scribble words: Hamburger, fries, cola.

The woman signaled frantically and took the pen.  Bathroom locked Wheres the key?
