Day 8 Check In – Writing or Resentment? Your Choice

Even after all these years, I still have days when I find myself apologizing for taking time to write.

Will it ever end?

  1. I love learning from you, Julie! You’re soothing, encouraging and fun. I needed this. Sometimes it’s hard for me to give myself permission to write, a complicated holdover from my youth, but I’m learning to just be and to be okay with scheduling time for myself to do things I enjoy. I’m learning to accept myself, quirks and all, which acceptance is something I’ve extended to others, naturally, for most of my life (with rare exceptions, but I’m human, and flawed) but overall, I’m an open armed extrovert embracing the good in the world.

Your May 8 vlog is awesome. Thanks for acknowledging that it can be a challenge, thank you for understanding the pull away from taking time for ourselves to write. It was so validating to hear, and I feel more determined for having heard it.

I remember exactly where I was when I heard your podcast for the first time and I know what I googled to get there. I’m so glad I did!
