Hello !!!
I’ve been busy writing and creating .. but skipped the Swagr last month. So, let me jump back on this bus!
October:
Complete the next version of Act 2 of the play (workshop session with the critique group on 10/30)
Next draft and publish LinkedIn profile (still getting clear)
Find a place to submit a short story (travel)
IF time
Develop the outline for Act 3
Let’s look back on September, shall we?
*flames and explosions*
Actually, let’s not.
So, a lot of my plans didn’t get done last month, yet I did do quite a bit of writing.
U Comm. 1: Due this month–Not done
U Comm. 2: Due this month?–Not Done
DG Comm. 4: Due this month???–Not Done
P4P: Due 9/10–Dropped
IIBB: Due 9/16?–Dropped
YF: Due 9/24–DONE!!!
—————————————–
So, for October. October actually looks to be busier than September, which is par for the course at this point. There are so many exchanges to do, plus I picked up another commission, AND it’s Drawlloween month???
Drawlloween: 10/1-10/31
U Comm. 1: 10/9
GAC Comm. 1: 10/16
ToT: 10/24
SM: 10/26
KCF: 10/29
DG Comm. 4: 10/30
Not to mention that I have something due the first week of November (which will probably be an even busier month). But at least I have a week’s vacation at the end of October!
*Ducks* Phew.
Glad you got the one done. Good luck with October. I am telling myself I am a terrible artist so I don’t get sucked into Drawlloween (you know I love a challenge)
Well, I didn’t quite make the goal I set last month (write at least 30 minutes every day). BUT I did write way more than I have been. I signed up for the StoryAWeek and the Fun Size Challenge and I’ve kept up with those.
For October I think I’m going to aim for writing at an average of 5 days every week. It might get tricky the week we are out of town, but hopefully I can bank some days before and after. And the people watching should be great for Story Sparks!
That’s pretty amazing.
Remember you’re allowed to take time away from the writing, especially if you’re starting to feel the burn(out). Just put a date on the calendar for when you’ll absolutely come back to it.
Thanks for the support for StoryAWeek and the Fun-Size Challenge. It’s great to have you aboard.
I wrote a total of five short stories for the month of September for the Ray Bradbury 52 Short stories 52 weeks challenge. I have just completed week 10. Holy cow I still believe it. Even though I had a few stressful hiccups in RL.
If I have this correct, I wrote a grand total for the month of 7,051. That brings my total word count up to 21,240 since I started the challenge. My editing skills are getting better, and my writing is improving.
My goal is to keep going this month along with a poetry challenge. Those will probably not be blogged right off though. Yes, I am nuts! lol
That’s pretty impressive. My goodness!
We do a lot of ‘nuts’ around here 😉 some of us thrive on the “I’ll show you” energy 😉
