  1. My goal for April is to average 2500 words a day, minimum. Would say everyday but I’m already behind so going with average so I have a chance to make up the difference. Best of luck to everyone with your goals!
Also, just happened to see something about storyaday May and am really looking forward to doing that the first time next month. I hope it is still going on!

    * researching my villain
*Setting a goal for the year..To complete the first draft of my novel.
    * Identifying the meaningful changes occurring in my novel and pinpointing what is unique and important in my novel.
    * continuing with story sparks
    * continuing to expand my reading with a writer’s eye and keep notes.
    APRIL GOALS 2021
    * Purchase the storage solutions for my writing corner.
    * Write another first draft chapter of my novel.
*continue my good habits of collecting story sparks and reading with a Writer’s eye, keeping notes of things that resonate with me.

  3. In March, I ended up deciding that the next book I thought might be helpful in my research wasn’t going to be that helpful.

I wrote my own reflections on the Way of the Cross for Lent and got them published..

    My April goals:
Finish reading The Emotional Wound Thesaurus and use it to create character arcs my two protagonists

Use these character arcs to solidify the plot of my novel – – finally.

Write and publish one essay for themighty.com

Fix the technical issue with my updated website, give feedback on it and make it go live.

  4. April Goals:
    Write 5 new poems
    Edit/Revise 5 poems
    1000-3000 – Fiction writing
Continue with Book Reviews – 1 submission
    2-3 Blog posts
    Revise 2 stories

  5. March goals:
Write and post 2 blog posts – yes
Get my online store (not writing, but creative so including) catalog photos done – not done, but worked on
    Submit 3 works – submitted 1
Participate in critique group – yes
    Revise 3 stories – yes
Write 1 new story – yes, plus of a 2nd new story

    April Goals:
    Write 1 new story
Continue with online store (work) catalog
    Submit 1 work
    Revise 3 stories
It’s a busy month at my job so I’m easier on myself this month. If I do the above modest things I will feel good about my progress.

  6. My goals for April:-

Continue with my massive Declutter so I can use my desk as something other than a convenient dumping ground. Get rid of the stuff I cull so I don’t decide to keep any of it…
Sort my competition paperwork so I can work out what comps have April dates.
Write at least two flash pieces
    Draft at least two poems
Continue with playwright course and reading
    Continue learning Latin…

    That’s it – fingers crossed

  7. “Ha! I’m sensing a theme with your pledges never to do this to yourself again”
You know, at some point I should just stop telling myself not to do things and then I might actually stick to it!

March, well, happened. I did write a lot, but barely anything I was supposed to. So now I have a LOT to write in April. Oh, well.

I was going to start this with a joke, in honor of April Fool’s day, but, y’know, the biggest joke here is me. *bah dum tish*

    April Writing Goals:
    ~S4S–1,000 words: 688 so far!
    ~Original 5k–5,000 words: Outline done
    ~IPQ–2,000 words: Idea made, sorta….
~ULX–1,000 words: Well, I’ve got the doc made….
    ~RPX–500 words: Title and idea

    …phew that’s a lot of work to do…

    April Other Goals:
    ~Get job
    ~Start newletter
    ~Read more

Yeah, that seems exactly as over-filled and likely to fail as I like to make plans. Woo!!!
