Today I’m giving you a classic “story-starter” prompt. I really don’t do this much, do I?!
Begin your story with the line: “Huh!” He said. “I never would have thought that would fit in there…”
- You can go pretty much anywhere with this one.
- That’s all I’ve got.
Leave a comment to tell us where YOU went, with this prompt. I’m dying to know!

I got today’s story done. A shorter one today:
Daughter and I already go to too many free wood workshop activities sponsored by local home improvement stores…
I wrote this on the 23rd for this day’s prompt, but because I have been ill, I forgot to post it here: https://promptlywritten.wordpress.com/2016/05/23/the-experiment-flash-fiction/
I inadvertently turned the prompt into a creepypasta: https://storiesin5minutes.wordpress.com/2016/05/21/dont-open-the-box-storyaday-post/
Took a while. I’m in catch-up mode and this beast didn’t help matters. First draft of “Triomphe.”
I love prompts; either starters, endings or photo prompts. I’ve been writing a novel using just prompts and I’m loving it. So, I enjoyed writing something for this.
I did begin the story with that line, but then I edited it out: https://only100words.xyz/2016/05/21/fanboy/
This led to me writing a two hundred word story. I hope you enjoy it 🙂 https://angietrafford.wordpress.com/2016/05/21/story-a-day-day-twenty-one/
