  1. I wrote OBJECTION today. It’s a story about an old lady shouting “I object!” at a wedding rehearsal. Her son is the Minister in charge. He lets her shout “I object” every time he says the line “Speak now or forever hold your peace.” The wedding couple are very nervous but he tells them not to worry. After the wedding is over, he takes his mom back to the hospice. She thanks him for helping her to work through her bucket list. Shouting “I object!” is the last item on the list. When he asks her about the plans for tomorrow, she replies she just wants to sleep in.

This was an unexpected twist in the story for me.
